When you arrive by train at Napoli-Centrale (or Piazza Garibaldi) Railway Station, take tram no 1. or a bus R2 to Piazza Municipio. Either taking Via Marina or Corso Umberto I, you will arrive at Piazza Municipio on the waterfront. Beverello Harbour -the main harbour for the sea-connections in the Gulf of Naples- is within walking distance of the square. The taxis are outside the terminal. Fares are calculated by use of a meter which must be activated. From Beverello Harbour you can catch one of the regular ferries or jetfoils for Capri. From Mergellina Railway Station you may reach the harbour in about 10 minutes walk.
