Whether travelling from north or south, we recommend exiting the A1 motorway at Firenze Signa Exit: After the toll gates follow the signs for the city centre, Continue towards the bridge Ponte alla Vittoria, cross the river following signs for the railway station.
Once in front of the railway station, leaving the station on your left continue to the right into Via Santa Caterina da Siena, at the traffic lights turn left into Via della Scala, the Hotel Alba is situated at 100 metres on the left hand side of the road.Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci is located 5km from the city centre and the Hotel Alba, Taxis are available or bus No 62 leaves from the airport terminal to the city centre.
Arriving at the central station of Santa Maria Novella, you can easily reach the hotel on foot. Exit the station to the right side, at the foot of the steps cross over the pedestrian crossing and turn left, continue in Via Santa Caterina di Siena until reaching the traffic lights, turn left into Via della Scala, the hotel is situated approximately 100 metres from the traffic lights on the left had side.

By train
The Santa Maria Novella railway station is 100 metres away from the hotel and only a 3-minute walk: exit the station on the left side, reach the piazza della Stazione square and turn right into via Santa Caterina da Siena. Walk down the street until the crossroad with via della Scala. Turn left and you will find the hotel.

By airplane
The Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport is approximately 8 km away. You can reach the hotel by taxi or by the SITA airport shuttle bus which connects the airport with Santa Maria Novella railway station. From the station follow the above-said indications.
