The Hotel La Vedetta, on the hills that embrace Livorno, directly faces one of the most suggestive landscape of the Etruscan Cost. The villa built at the end of XVIII century and was inhabited by Baron Herman De Schubart, who was the Danish King' s Minister. He called the villa la Vedetta (that means look-out tower) for the beautiful landscape one can admire from its terrace.

from North: by motorway exit tollboot of Livorno. From there take the "Superstrada" (SS1) direction Grosseto, until you arrive at the exit of "Montenero". At the crossing of the exit turn left towards "Montenero Alto" and follow the instructions for the "Santuario" on the hill. Once in the "Piazza del Santuario", you will find signs for the hotel, which is only a hundred metres away.
FROM THE RAILWAY STATION: Livorno station - bus N° 2 and "funicolare" - Arrived in the square, take Via della Lecceta.
