Located within a peaceful semi-central area, Ca' Grande is just 200 metres from Casa di Cura Santa Rita, an important Milanese hospital which is famous for its Fertility Centre. It is just 700 metres from the heart of the Citta' Studi where you will find Milan's Polytechnic (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci and Via Ampere), the prestigious science and technology university along with various faculties of the Universita' Statale (Agrarian studies, Veterinary Studies and Physics) which are housed between Via Celoria and Via Mangiagalli, which you can easily reach in 5 / 10 minutes on foot, by taking tram 33, 11 and 23 or bus 55 and trolleybus 93.
Thanks to the underground and the on-road transportation system it is well linked to the old town, the trade fair, the shopping streets and the main museums and monuments.
Take the red underground (line 1) to reach the Cathedral quickly, along with the city centre trade fair - Fieramilanocity and the new attraction Fieramilano in Rho, if you take the green line and get off at Cadorna, you can get the train that will take you to Malpensa airport, the Brera Art Gallery, Teatro alla Scala, the Triennale and the Sant'Ambrogio quarter where you can also visit Leonardo's Last Supper.
