You will access at B&B Through a courtyard, with a flavor of Ancient Rome, Double and Treble rooms in the heart of the Eternal City. THE ROOMS Despite our central location, our rooms overlooking the Aurelian walls are very silent. From the windows you can enjoy the view of the walls and the gardens located inside them, the walk leading to Gianicolo hill. THE WALKS Our position will allow you to walk to all important places in central Rome. Just in front of our doorway there is S. Peter's Colonnade. Crossing the square, you can reach the Vatican Museums then Castel Sant' Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori and the whole Historical Center. Also Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, The Colusseum and the Forums are easily reached with brief walks We suggest you also to climb the Via Mura Aurelie to Porta San Pancrazio on the Gianicolo Hill. You will get to the so called Rome Terrace, where you can have a magnificent view of the Eternal City. Descending on the other side of the hill you will get to Trastevere, then, following the right side of the River, the Porta Portese Market (on Sunday's morning only). THE SHOPPING Within a walking distance from the B&B, you can get to via Cola di Rienzo, and via Ottaviano, a place to get the best of the Rome's shopping, or in via dei Coronari (the famous street of the Antiquaries) The Buses n. 64, 571, 46 or the Underground will take you to Piazza Venezia from where within a few minutes, you can reach the most famous streets of the Italian shopping: Via del Corso, Via Condotti, Via Frattina, Piazza di Spagna THE NEAR SERVICES Internet Point - Taxi Station - Train Station - Bus stop - Banks - Money Change - Post Office - Garage - Rent a car, a bike, a scooter - Bar - Restaurants and Pizzerias - Pharmacy - Hospital. at the second floor of a XIX century building, situated nearby that section of the old Aurelian walls which surrounds the hill of Gianicolo. The B&B is found few meters from Saint Peter's Square and near the Vatican's Museums, Castel Sant' Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori. Also Trastevere and the whole Historical Center, they are easily reached with brief walks, as well as Trevi's Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, The Colusseum and the Forums. Villa Borghese and all other tourist attractions are situated at 10/20 minutes by bus. BUS and METRO The B&B is perfectly connected to the city centre and all the main attractions. It's very easy to get to the B&B, no matter if you come from north, south, from the airport or Railway Station Termini 50 mtrs from the B&B is the stop for buses going to every direction. Bus n. 64, just to give an example, will take you to the Central railway station Termini, passing by all the historical sites: Piazza Navona Piazza Venezia, Campidoglio, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi. The Bus n. 571 to reach the Roman Forum, the Coliseum and St. John Basilica. The station of the Metro is distant from the B&B around 500 meters. Infomations
