In The Heart of the World-wide celebrated Amalfi Coast, the Hotel Tramonto D'Oro, literally "Golden Sunset" derives its name from the magnificent Sunsets, which anyone staying there, can enjoy from its spacious terraces, rooms and even from its roof-top swimming-pool. It is a Family-run () Hotel, very confortable and full of character.
The Hotel is in Praiano, between Amalfi and Positano, in a central location but still peaceful and quiet. It has been built in a typical Mediterranean style. A good example of skilled architecture, which blends perfectly with a landscape of unvaluable beauty, declared by the UNESCO, as a World Heritage Site
The Hotel has the Certificate of Enviromental Management System, according with the UNI EN ISO 14001 Rules, reconfirmed in the 2005 and always in the 2005 the Certificate of Hotel, Restaurant and Bar Quality according with the UNI EN ISO 9001.
The History of the present Hotel, dates back to 1952, when Donato Esposito first started with the opening of the "TRAMONTO D'ORO" Bar, which later developed into a Restaurant and finally became a Hotel. Since then, the ESPOSITOS' Family has always run the Hotel with a special eye to continuos renovation of the structure, which is carried out each year, and to improve the quality & range of services they're committed to offer all their guests.
Continuity, is for the ESPOSITOS' Family, a significant Key word, and it certainly shows !!!

Coming from the North by car:
From Rome reach the main road "A1" direction south (Napoli ) and, after leaving Napoli, take the main road "A3" to Napoli - Salerno ( Not Tangenziale Napoli ). At Castellammare di Stabia, take the road to Sorrento and at Meta di Sorrento take the road to Positano and after 5 km you will arrive in Praiano: after a tunnel,you will find the parking of the Hotel Tramonto D'Oro on your right. Welcome to the hotel!

Coming from the South:
Take the exit "A3" at Vietri sul Mare and follow the sign for route S.S.163 Amalfitana, Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Praiano.

By Plane:
The International Airport of Napoli Capodichino. Take Sita bus to Sorrento and from Sorrento another bus to Praiano.
We suggest you to come by taxi and we can help you to organize the transfer.

By train:
There is the railway Central Station of Salerno. Departures to Hotel Tramonto d'Oro with Sita bus; terminal distance from the station, 100 m. The other railway station is Napoli Centrale, at Piazza Garibaldi, where on a lower level you can get a Circumvesuviana local train to Sorrento; buses leaves from the square in front of the Circumvesuviana train station at Sorrento
