In Siracusa, Sicily, facing the sea of the Isle of Ortigia, there are the studios MedFlats, comfortable, ideal for 2+1 people.
All located between the romantic Lungomare Alfeo and the Castello Maniace, the Alfeo&Aretusa are one-roomed air-conditioned studios with little kitchen, independent bathroom, TV and balcony over the sea.
The zone is pretty touristic so offering all the needed services as well as pubs and characteristic restaurants.
The Aretusa's Fountain, the Duomo, the Maniace Castle, Apollo Temple, are simply reachable in only a few minutes walking.
In the summer the main 'lidi' (shores) of the isle are so close to make possible a sea-bath even in the centre of the city.

BY CAR:
From Castania on the S.S. 114 (Catania-Siracua) and turn to 'Siracusa Sud' after 45 minutes. Once you reach the town you can be at the apartments in the island of Ortigia, on the Lungomare Alfeo, in just 15 minutes. The historic centre of Ortigia has limited traffic access: you can park your car as soon as you arrive on the island; guarded parking areas are available.

FROM THE AIRPORT:
From the international airport of Catania it is possible to reach Siracusa directly by way of regular bus service or taxi. The airport is about 45 minutes from Siracusa.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATION:
Once you've reached Siracusa ailway Station, the island of Ortigia is far 5 minutes walking.
